QC Home & Business Project Pros ("QC Home & Business Project Pros," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at qchomeandbusinessprojectpros.com (the "Site") and how we use and share it. Our online application at app.qchomeandbusinessprojectpros.com may present additional notices that apply when you create an account or submit a request there.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a repair or project request, respond to us, or otherwise contact us, you may provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, property address or location, and a description and photos of the work you need. If you use the chat assistant on the Site, we receive the messages you type into it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery provider records standard technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit — for security, reliability, and to understand general usage. The chat assistant stores your conversation in your browser's session storage so it persists while you browse; that data stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.
The Site does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
How we use information
- To receive your request and match you with suitable local service professionals ("Pros") in your area.
- To respond to your questions and provide the chat assistant.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
The chat assistant
Our chat assistant is powered by OpenAI. The messages you send to it are transmitted to OpenAI to generate a response. Please do not enter sensitive personal or financial information into the chat. See OpenAI's privacy policy for how they handle data.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the service:
- With local Pros. When we match your request, we share the request details with the relevant Pro(s) so they can respond with pricing and availability. Pros are independent businesses with their own privacy practices.
- With service providers who help us run the Site, including Amazon Web Services (hosting and content delivery), OpenAI (chat assistant), and Google Fonts (web fonts, which may receive your IP address to serve fonts).
- For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or our business.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Security
We use reasonable measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided to us by emailing privacy@qchomeandbusinessprojectpros.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

The Site links to other sites, including our application and individual Pros' websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; please review their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
